Look no further than this direct hire opportunity if you have at least 4-5 years' experience in leading a Billing and Accounts Receivable Team. We are seeking an accomplished manager who is ready to become a part of our leadership team (and would prefer someone with transportation industry experience if possible). A qualified candidate will be well versed in all aspects of managing receivables and billing, be highly proficient in MS Excel and embrace new technology. This is ONSITE in Murfreesboro and offers an excellent benefit package.

Responsibilities

• Daily management of the Accounts Receivable and Billing staff
• Work with the Billing Team Lead to ensure accurate and timely invoices are created; work closely with Operations to resolve discrepancies and customer issues
• Generate reports using Workday and Excel
• Work with the A/R Team Lead to ensure timely payment and collections; handle payment escalations
• Establish lines of credit and provide data analysis
• Oversee the cash application process to ensure payments are reconciled and discrepancies are handled efficiently
• Lead the teams to provide excellent service both internally and externally to maintain positive customer relationships
• Provide guidance, training, coaching and support for direct and indirect reports
• Recruit and retain team members; conduct performance reviews; lead meetings; foster a positive work environment
