Job Description
Employment Recovery Coach Primary Purpose: Under the direct supervision of the Vocational Services Program Director, provide on-site and off-site job support for all consumers who participate in the CRP vocational system of services which include volunteers, supported employment, and enclave work crews in community-based work sites. This position will maintain on-going follow up services to all community-based placements.
Essential Functions: - Responsible to oversee consumers and provide on-site and off-site job-coaching and feedback in various job crews and job-related environments.
- Trains consumers on job tasks, conducts assessments of employment skills, creates and updates shift schedules, assists with the completion of timesheets, and works with consumers on individual barriers and goals.
- Assists consumers with Microsoft Word/Google Docs and navigating internet sites and online employment systems.
- Responsible to help conduct and facilitate meetings and large group trainings.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
This position serves as Campus Security Authority (CSA) as outlined by the Clery Act. CSAs have federally mandated responsibilities to report crimes that are reported them.

Minimum Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED.
- Six (6) months volunteer or paid experience in a helping and/or support role in human services, behavioral services, or other related areas.
Preferred Qualifications: - Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft/Google software platforms.
- Able to work independently and a part of a team.
- Good organizational skills.
- Strong desire to help others.
- Ability to follow directions and get along with others.
- Ability to operate office machines, copiers, scanners, fax machines, voicemail systems and personal computer.
- Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.
- Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.

The position requires performing physical activities, including standing, kneeling and reaching within the field and within the office. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at one time.
Work Environment/Work Week/Travel:
Work performed in varied environments including office and public settings. This position will utilize standard business hours but may occasionally include evening and weekends.
Requires a current TB test.
Valid driver's license required. Incumbent must also be able to meet the University's fleet rules and be eligible to drive for University business. The University and its insurance carrier reserves the right to exclude applicants based on their driving record.
Hiring Range: $16.39 per hour to $18.00 per hour. We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
